All things water.

While we were in Utah, we also spent a lot of time with family doing all sorts of fun things.  Auggie went to the pool for the first time, visited the Aquarium, and went on his first boat ride!

During the flight out, we had a layover in Chicago (I think it was Chicago?).  The terminal had an awesome play place, and Auggie had such a good time!  Some of the older kids let him play with their balloon, and he couldn't get enough of it.  I just love the last photo of him crawling towards Don and the sunset...little Auggie on a big airport adventure!

Our flight home got delayed like six or eight hours...something crazy like that.  Flight delays are not ideal with exhausted babies, so desperate times called for desperate measures.  We popped open Auggie's Peapod tent and put him down for a nap at the gate, right then and there.  That's totally normal, right?

Other than a handful of "looks" from people around us, the gate nap was a total success.  And because we were delayed for sooooo long, Auggie ended up taking another Peapod nap in the main terminal corridor.  We just love our little traveler so much!
