Spring Break 2026

We stayed in town for spring break this year since we had just gone to Disneyland in February.  Our staycation was filled with hikes, Nerf battles, Ginny snuggles, visitors, hiking, and general mayhem.  Fun was had!
Ginny always criss-crosses her little ankles 😍.
Nerf insanity.  Let's just say we have an arms dealer in Pittsburgh named Mike.
Don took the boys on a hike to Gunlock Falls which is a beautiful cascading waterfall that only fills up after a heavy rainstorm.  A fun spring break activity!
It's no surprise that both boys are amazing builders of all things.  I don't have a picture of Auggie's absolutely incredible lego jungle that he's been working on for months (it's on the to-do list!), but I've got some pictures of what Owen has been engineering.  His train track creations are insane!
Owen spent all spring break completing this massive perler bead project.  He came up with the design on his own, which blew my mind.  Afterward, I showed him all of Andy Warhol's works, and he was so excited to have come up with the same design as a famous artist.  He also asked me if his perler creation would be in the Guinness Book of World Records for "largest perler bead project by a five year old".

Perhaps, buddy, perhaps!
Happy spring break!
