We would surely play basketball.
And practice shots from the free throw line,
So that each of our shots would fall.
Every child would have a fan,
In the crowd at all their events.
My dad would yell, "yes, you can!"
And his cheering would be quite intense...
He would try to teach us how to cook,
And how to make Thanksgiving feasts.
Each year he'd request that we watch and look,
And learn how to roast each year's beasts.
The World would learn to recognize puns
And terrible plays on words...
Who ever knew that around the word "suns"
Revolve puns that have still not been heard.
The World would be safe, that is for sure.
Not one child would ever be lost.
With goals to protect, and intentions pure,
NYC, I'm afraid, would get tossed.
What the World needs now is someone kind,
A person who'll comfort and care,
A person who always tries to find,
The best things just so he can share.
I think that what the World may need,
Is someone to keep us in line. :)
The World would benefit, indeed,
From a Dad very much like mine.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
May the whole World know how much I love you.
