Breckinridge Roommate Reunion.

We had an impromptu college roomie reunion back in April, and it was so. much. fun.  I'm very glad I got to go!  It's never easy to coordinate leaving your kids for a weekend, but I'm so happy Don's request off from work was granted.  It was a stressful couple of weeks for us at the time, but Don still made it happen🙏!

For some of these friends, it had been 7+ years since we had last seen each other!  This group of girls is a huge blessing in my life.  Nine of us were all roommates in college at some point or another, and we have stayed close ever since.  These ladies are all kind, genuine, thoughtful, smart, fuuuuuuny, brave, accomplished, down-to-earth, uplifting, and talented in so many different ways.  We have a nurse, an accountant, a lawyer, a teacher, a Crossfit Spartan, two corporate workers, one who has since dappled in the interior design world, and a legit PTA President (as predicted, Debbie!).  Throughout the years, we've shared with each other our struggles with tragedy and loss.  We've been there to celebrate successes and cheer on little growing families.  But mostly and always, we laugh.  So much laughing.

This weekend was no different than any other time we've seen each other over the last nineteen years.  We picked up where we left off and had an absolute blast!  We missed the three who couldn't make it, which only means another get together is on the horizon!

Katie D., K-Rowe, Bethie, Janna, Rachie, Shar, Debbie, and Jill...we all love each other.
