End of Year Highlights - Auggie

{January, 2022}

Graduated from nursery and started primary! 

Loves to help me cook and always wants to be my sous-chef kitchen helper.

Getting brave, no longer afraid to get a haircut!

{April, 2022}

Nervous for his first swim lessons at the Community Center, sweet boy!  He only lasted a month, but we're so proud he tried.  Generally timid in the water, but not afraid of the seriously fast waterslide meant for teenagers.

{May, 2022}

First year preschool graduation!  Beyond proud.  Loves his teacher, Mrs. Kiera.

Becoming a proficient builder of all things, especially Legos.

Started year two of preschool!

Learning to read, write, and draw.  Auggie could already be reading if he wanted to...but, he told me he wasn't interested in reading until he turned four 😆.

Loves all things superhero, Star Wars, and warrior.

Learning to ride his balance bike even though he's cautious.  Starting to gain confidence! 

A talented, natural little skier!  Really looks forward to dad and Auggie ski days and is Don's buddy at the resort.  Doesn't ever want to do "pizzas" with his skis, only wants to zoom "french fries" fast down the mountain.

Babies "hatch" i.e., "Mom, when Owen hatched, did he..."
Drinking honey/syrup in the morning before we wake up and calling it his "honey medicine"

Setting out spicy water on the counter for dad every morning 

Saying "vench" instead of bench

Favorite colors forever were "orange and green and peach!"

Now, just orange and green after I once mentioned that peach was similar to orange
