August in New York - Part III

{Day 11}
Greenwich Village!  Spent the day eating our way through beautiful, cobblestone streets.  First stop, Washington Square Park.

Bleeker Street pizza for a slice.

Not me buying six cupcakes for three of us at the OG Magnolia Bakery.
Carrie Bradshaw's apartment and Cornelia Street, while listening to T. Swift, obvs.
West Village selfies.

{Day 12}
We hopped on the train and went to Jersey to visit Jenna!  Track 4 for this little crew.
A little dose of sunshine and suburban life.  Jenna took the boys fishing!  Auggie was equal parts scared and excited that he actually caught one, ha.
Basketball games with the older kids.
Rita's Italian Ice.

{Day 13}
Jersey beach day!

Spent the afternoon in and out of cool New Jersey lighthouses.  The first lighthouse had a height limit.  I took Klay on the tour while Jenna stayed with the boys in the car.  Owen slept, and Auggie read books.

Big enough for the second lighthouse!

Canons were a hit.

Jersey Mike's for a sub to-go, and then a quick evening train ride home.  We made it back just in time for bed.

{Day 14}
Eating Gray's Papaya hot dogs and documenting our perfect little Eastside stoop, knowing that we were headed home in a couple days...I wanted to stay forever.
That day 14 NYC feeling.
Central Park carousel.
Don came back that night!  We couldn't even wait, everyone was so excited.  We met him outside the 86th street stop at Mr. Softee for an evening cone.

{Day 15}
Back to our morning routine of a bagel and our favorite fruit stand, then off to Central Park for a morning run.
St. Patrick's Cathedral.
Rockefeller Center fountain.  Before, during, after 😂.
FAO Schwarz and a taxi to Canal Street.
{Day 16}
Going home.  I did not want to leave.  I took pictures of our Airbnb so I could always remember it...it may have been tiny and full of glass, but it sure had my heart!
The most amazing Harlem street art to send us home.
Tired on the plane, but very, very happy.
