After we got back from New York, Don and I turned right around and went on a mini trip (without kids!) for the first time since Auggie was born. The only other time we've left the kids together was for a one night zip down to Vegas, less than twenty four hours. It hardly counts?!
Don's friend, Dan Asay, was getting married in Santa Barbara, and we turned it into a California weekend. Santa Barbara is stunning! No wonder Harry and Meghan jet-setted themselves to the West Coast.
Late night tacos, morning runs on the beach, a walk through old town, mission-style architecture, getting fancy at the Montecito Club, and more beach strolling.
Happy! And ready to just be us!
Views for daaaaayz.
Love a good pier.
Spanish Mission style architecture is so beautiful.
The Montecito Club was unreal! All night, we couldn't get over it. Take me back to eating hors d'oeuvres at sunset with a cliffside view...over the golf course, all the way down to the palm tree studded beach.
(No but really, take me baaaack.)
More friends from med school, Josh and Kara!
Beach strollin' cause we can.
