The kids raced the Dogtown Kids Fun Run at Staheli Farms and had a blast! It was muddy, messy, cold, and awesome. The kids did so well, and I'm beyond proud!
Auggie ran the whole course and never gave up. He really seemed to be trying to run his fastest, which I legitimately couldn't handle...it made me so happy! I tried to stay cool but was screaming my head off the whole time. What a kid!
Owen kept getting feisty because he wanted me close enough that he could see me, but not so close as to ruin the illusion that he was racing "alone". If I got too close he said, "No mom...stop running next to me! You go cheer!" Once I figured out his parameters, he was off!
