It's always fun to take a day trip to Zion, and we love that we're only a thirty five minute drive away. Our friends, Heather and Mike, came to visit us from Pittsburgh. They may end up moving here, they love it that much!
We took them on a hike to The Narrows which was also a first for the kids. We never intended to hike far up the river because we didn't have the gear, and the kids are still so little. But that didn't stop Auggie from wanting to go for it! He begged Don to help him criss cross the freezing cold river, and he ended up hiking through the water all the way up to his waist!
Owen opted to stay with me so he could be carried the whole time.

We've recently discovered Hibachi, and we've been loving Sakura for special occasions. The kids were delighted to take Heather and Mike there and show them why we love it. It was fun because Heather and Mike are foodies, and they really appreciate a good dining experience.
