Our 2024 Christmas season was full of parties and fun, more parties and more fun! For starters, both boys had a Christmas party at their schools. Auggie's party was Grinch themed, so we got Owen matching Grinch jammies too, of course.
Owen is just the cutest little preschool bean ever, is he not?!
Auggie was SO excited for his Grinch party this year. He is absolutely loving kindergarten. You can see in their faces...both boys went full Grinch-mode as we were getting ready, ha.Auggie took no prisoners in the class snowball fight 😂!
I just love this picture of Auggie during Christmas spirit week. Such a cutie!
This is the second year in a row that we've gone to see the most amazing production of the The Nutcracker at our local high school. It sounds like it wouldn't be that good, but au contraire! It's as professional as it gets for a $20 ticket! I love getting the boys all dressed up for a night at the theatre. I hope we can make it a yearly tradition.
Not to mention, for two years now Auggie has been asking for a full-sized nutcracker that will actually crack nuts. We have yet to make his wish come true, but someday!
I love a good Christmas Sunday ensemble. Give me all the sequins and rhinestones.
It's puzzle season! We did so many puzzles this year, and it was so joyful. The boys are good enough puzzlers that they can do the 500-piece ones now, so it was fun for everybody. We just kept them coming all season long. I think we ended up doing six puzzles all together.
We also started a santa-hat-movie-night tradition on Christmas Eve last year, which the kids have loved! This year's movie was "Thomas & Friends: The Christmas Letter Express". Ten thumbs up from everybody.
Loving my conehead 😂.
Christmas morning was a wonderful day. My mom came over to open presents in the morning, and then both my parents came over for Christmas dinner.
The boys each got a big lego set, so they spent the rest of the day furiously building. Auggie finished his Hogwarts castle in about three days! They are both such good builders, it's fun to watch.
