Polar Express

In December, we went on the Heber Creeper Polar Express!!  Michelle got the whole family tickets, and it was really fun.  We were most excited for Owen to ride the train again, and his enthusiasm did not disappoint.  Auggie's excitement was infectious too.  He had seen a little bit of the Polar Express movie last year, and we also read the Polar Express book quite a bit at our house, so his anticipation was fun to see!

I wasn't sure what the actual train ride would be like, but I think we were all surprised at what a good job they did.  It was quite the production, and they created the most wonderfully magical experience for all the kids.  They had singing, dancing, costumes, hot chocolate, cookies, reindeer on the tracks, and a visit from Santa where they gave each child a silver bell!  Not only that, but the train passed by the "North Pole" right before Santa arrived.  At the end, we all got to take home a Polar Express mug.  It was a truly memorable production through and through.  A++.
